It was a portable Bose Sounddock. Pretty pricey, but I need great sound when I hoop. Well, got home plugged it in and it seems to be missing something. The base is almost non-existent. There was a flyer in the pkg. stating their way of producing quality sound is to reduce the base and treble range explaining it is fake. I missed this in the preview sample at the store. Though the volume does expand fairly loud and certain types of music do sound great, but I am ready to take it back and order the Ion Rockblocker. Does anyone know how the blocker compares, would I be making the right decision. I will have to order it online, so I will not get a chance to hear the comparison. This is another one I am considering. Does anyone have a portable Kicker with the battery accessory. It is almost as much as the Bose so I would need a great recommendation. My hesitation in buying a bigger sound system has a lot to do with the fact that they are usually powered by D batteries, but I suppose I could just invest in some rechargeable ones and it wouldn't be the end of the world...
