We did end up getting portal placement! Woo hoo. I'm doing a hoop-making party, followed by a jam from 2-5 on tuesday. Our camp offers refreshments, misting system, large sound system w/ awesome tunes and much shade! We're at the 3:00 portal - Camp Oobleck/Tasty Noodles

I haven't been down since 2005 so I'm getting really psyched about getting back to the playa. I noticed the Deep End is no longer going... :( It would be great to find some daytime parties to get my hoop on. Anyone know of any good daytime party camps? If not I'll just see what I come across in the guide book and see where my ears lead me. :)

Same here - we're with oobleck camp - LOADS of hoops and hoopers!!!! Still not sure on placement (obviously) but we've been around 3 & F for the last 4 years - hoping for key Last year someone put together a WONDERFUL list of all the hoop happenings around the playa - it was a great guide!

We hoop all over the playa! LOL I precariously balance my hoops on my yellow trike and ride around with them! We always on B close to 5:15-5:30 area.
