My great friend, who is a very talented photographer i have used before for photoshoots, is giving me a shoot as part of a barter:
I have decided to use the shoot to create a hooping portfoilio--a series of photos i can use not only for fun, but for promotion, and to present to clubowners, students, etc etc
My question is: do you have any specific suggestions of what looks i should include/what styles i should aim for?
I am already thinking: some artsy/circusy shots, some fire shots, LED shots, playful neon-ravery looks, athletic, out in nature, etc.
we are shooting over several days, so i have time to do many different looks, costumes, backgrounds, hoops, tricks, motion vs. still, etc etc
suggestions are super appreciated.

Re: NEED: Suggestions for Hoop Photo Portfolio
Wed, October 7, 2009 - 3:11 PMHere is really great tip i received in relation to promo shots and videos.
Try and get a few shots that include the audience and audience reaction to your show, this really helps because in the end the bookers are really buying your ability to entertain and draw a crowd. If you can show them how well your show goes down with the crowd rather than just how you look then they will be much more likely to book. -
