I just saw a music video by Panic! At the Disco. There were hoopers in it! www.1061kissfm.com/cc-commo...n_demand/ Now I'm wondering if there are other music videos out there with hoops, and who were the hoopers?

Tue, June 20, 2006 - 2:09 PMI still can't believe how much their videos mimic the dresden dolls brigade. Seriously, down to the whiteface, stripes, costumes and acts even. There's been a hooper in the brigade both times I've participated.
If you'd like to be surrounded by such an event in real life, attend a dresden dolls headlined show.
(no comment on the fact that these two bands are touring together. nope. no comment.) -

Tue, August 8, 2006 - 1:04 AMFunny you should mention the Beyonce video because as much as I loathe the song, I was just thinking about the video a few days ago! In some interview/Making the Video/Austin Powers promotion, I remember Beyonce said that she'd always been good at hula hooping as a kid so they added that section to the video. Anyway, for anyone who wants to see Beyonce hoop, you don't need to watch the whole video. The first section is around 1:50-2:20, then near the end around 3:25.

This is "Pretty Woman" from the movie Kal Ho Naa Ho (Tomorrow May Never Come). You can see the hooper a few times in the second half of the video in front of the American flag. And for the rest of the time you can watch Shahrukh Khan being all sexy! It's a win-win situation. (It's also an amazing film if you ever get the chance to see it.)
