I am trying to learn to leg/knee hoop and am just not getting it. I've watched just about all the tutorials I have found here and just can't seem to get the mechanics of it. I barely get in 2 or 3 rotations and down it goes. Does the size of your hoop make a difference? Is bigger easier than smaller? Any advice is always appreciated.

Xta pointed me in the right direction, so I'm posting my origional msg here. I'm still not sure of all the names of moves, so if people could post their favorites here, in responses, it'll save me wading through lots of irrelevant posts, with moves i am unable to do for the time being.

hi all,
I'm writting this as a call to post good tutorial clips for any hoop tricks not involving the mid-section of the body.

I am a very new hooper, and looking for arm & leg manuvours that may be practiced safely while pregnant. I'm finding being reduced to a very low activity level, and being an arm chair enthusiast....is just kind of....well....depressing. I am willing to continue my hooping abstinance if need be though : ) .
Any youtube clips, suggestions, or relavant addy's are much appreciated!

Any clips/ideas?
thanks in advance for your responses!

PS - thanks for the thanks, it is nice to feel appreciated.. but it would also be good to just leave this thread as a functional, links-only thing :) If you wanna show gratitude, please help out by digging through past threads (particularly the ones with lots and lots of helpful info) and posting them into the appropriate Collection! It would be particularly helpful right now since Tribe's Search function is dysfunctional :(

Collection threads are a resource tool to help make searching for information easier. These are not actual discussion areas, just a gathering place where tribe members will add links to threads with information on the collection topic. Please feel free to revive any of these older thread by posting a reply within that thread, which will move it up to the top of the active threads list.

When adding a new link to a collection thread, please include this information:

A new Subject Heading to make it easy to visually skim through the thread
Link
Thread Title
Original Poster
Date of Original Post
Number of Replies

.. and then provide a brief description of the content of that thread, so that searchers will know if the thread is likely to contain the information they need.

Thanks for your help!
