What works for you?
Must provide warmth, surface should be a little sticky, shape should be generally close-fitting.
Got ideas for torso, arms, and legs?
I'd rather not spray non-stick truck bed liner paint onto a snug jumpsuit (sorry, just joking)

Snowy winter
Thu, October 22, 2009 - 9:46 PMthe clothes I would snowboard in, layers. Nylons, long johns, thick yoga pants, and then the outer shell clothes. Long shirt and sweat shirt. and gloves/mittens. Fingers have weird balance between cold and useful. I also have arm shelves and can use a vest. I did hoop in the snow last year and will be sure to get pictures of it this year. Dress like you would to go out and play, layers.
Cotton works best with a hoop but may not keep you very warm. Sweaters, but if it is too thick around the middle or end at the waist it gets in the way. To the knees is best. A hat is nice, but your head will get hot quickly.
Rain sucks. Standing in fresh snow in the sun is amazing. Trying foot hooping on the ground in the living room. Or laying on you back with your arm in the air, rolling around. -

Fri, October 23, 2009 - 5:56 AMif youre worried about grippiness, you could accent your outer wear with strategic not so fashionable bands of rubbery/ grippy surfracedfabric. tube around your waist/hips. arm tubes. you could make your fabric tubes big enough for your selcted layers underneath.
how ever you might find that as weird as the paint. i havven't tried this, it just sounds like it would work lol. maybe?
what i do in the winter (other than layering like mad said) is to use a slightly bigger hoop than i normally do. it's easier with some bulkier layers on than i normally hoop in.
i just had an idea! what if the hoop was super grippy instead of your layers? would it be rediculous for the hoop to have that paint you were talking about? hm...
