I am going to buy one from Patrick this week and am trying to decide what to order. It would be for fast, performance hooping.
For those who have one: Did you get the medium stiffness? Which weight did you choose, the lighter or heavier option?
What lights/combo did you choose? I love the dragonfly but am thinking of combining it with elfin or rainbow.
If you had it to do over would you have it made differently?

Sun, June 17, 2007 - 9:58 AMI just got my 7 Dragonfly and 7 Elfin combo PSI hoop from Patrick not too long ago and I LOVE IT! I thought if I got the solid Dragonfly I would miss out on a lot of the Magenta colours (which I love to see!) and I made exactly the right decision.
I got the medium stiffness and got Red, Blue and Orange tape on it.
If I had a chance to do it all over again I'd buy exactly the same!
Wait a minute... I might be on to something here... TWO PSI hoops....? =)

Sun, August 5, 2007 - 8:45 PMI have an 18 LED PsiHoop, with 6 elfins, 6 dragonflys and 6 solid 'ambers' (though they look very orange to me)...
I love it - nothing blinking too fast, just a slow fade from colour to colour, the solid colours really anchor the look (which changes from being red/orange/purple fire to blue/orange/green plaid!) and the amber colour actually works particularly well with the reddish colours of the LEDs as they are losing their charge.
Two things I would think about if/when ordering another hoop: having more significant space between the LEDs - instead of having 6 clumps of three (one of each type listed above) I'd look at doing 5 clumps with a larger space between - makes interesting tracers.. and I'd prob choose a more neutral colour (uhm, is purple a neutral?) for my solids.

Mon, August 6, 2007 - 4:25 AMI bought my psihoop a year ago (exactly now!) and I can't stress enough how much I absolutely LOOOOVE my hoop!! HOWEVER, a year ago I was still a "new" hooper and I opted for whichever tubing that feels the same as the 3/4" 160psi type that we use for regular hoops. Now that I've fallen in love with 100psi tubing my psihoop feels very stiff and heavy. A friend of mine got the thinner/lighter tubing (I'm totally jealous) it's fantastic! So if I could change anything about it, I'd get the lighter tubing. Oh, and more lights. Mine has 8 Elfin 4 Dragonflies.. now I kind of wish I got 8 Elfin and 6 or 8 Dragonflies.
I think it might be time for me to buy another one LOL
